http://www.wmicentral.com/sports/local_sports/jackets-open-year-by-winning-th-straight/article_46099a6e-d4d2-11e0-8e02-001cc4c002e0.html

The Yellow Jackets extended their winning streak to 30 games. They won their final eight games in 2009, when they were 18-3-1, and went 21-0 last year. Blue Ridge hasn't lost in 33 straight games since falling to Tucson Desert Christian 3-0 in the first game of the Old Pueblo Tournament on Oct. 2, 2009, going 32-0-1 since that setback.

Since this game, BR played St.J's and won their 31st game in a row. They played 4 games this weekend at the Chino Valley Tourny I believe. Have yet to hear the results of any of those games yet. Go Yellow Jackets.

Most of the scores from this past weekends Chino Valley Tourny.
Chino Valley 4. Grand Canyon 0.
Desert Christian 3. Camp Verde 0.
Blue Ridge 6. Chino Valley 0.
Grand Canyon 0. Desert Christian 1.
Camp Verde 1. Blue Ridge 2.

Saturday,
Chino Valley 2. Desert Christian 2. Goes to pks, Chino wins 5-4.
Blue Ridge 4. Grand Canyon 0.
Camp Verde beats Chino Valley 3-2 in pks. I don't have how many goals were scored during the game.
Desert Christian 1. Blue Ridge 6.

For anyone keeping track, that's a 6 - 0 record for BR thus far this season. Also, 37 goals scored to 2 goals allowed!
Looking good early. And a big win over DC early on in the season.

BR clearly dominates the soccer field.

Other schools, are you even trying?

I doubt any other school is even trying. I'm sure they're all just out there for fun, not even attempting to win at all and don't care too much about the outcome of their matches.

Correction: The BR v SF score was 8-0, and that makes 45 goals scored, 2 allowed.

Sept. 8th, BR played Holbrook, and went away with a 8-2 win. Well done Jackets! Keep on rolling!
That makes 53 goals, to just 4 allowed.
According to the schedule I found online, next game is not till next Thur., the 15th, when BR will take on Payson in Payson. And I am going to try and get to the BR vs SF game in SF on the 24th of Sept. Lets stay undefeated!
