BR over Payson 2-0 on Sept 15th. A much better game than I would have thought. Leaves me wondering, was it an off game for BR, or is Payson got some talent on the pitch this year? Time will tell

BR over SL by a score of 9-1. I'm told it was 6-0 at the half. And BR played it's 2nd string almost exclusively the entire 2nd half. Word is SL lost it's best player to injury during the 1st game of the season. Sad if true, but one way or another, it's a down year for SL.

BR wins again. 9/24 @ Snowflake. I was able to attend this game, and got to witness BR’s offensive firepower. When I arrived at the field, the scoreboard read: 1st ; 33ish minutes remaining, and a score of 0 for the home team and 2 for the visitors. Just 7-8 minutes into the game, and I had already missed two goals! Turns out goals were scored in the 3rd and 4th minute of the game. At half time, the score was 6-0 BR. Trey C. had 2 goals, Martin F. has a hat trick (3 goals) in as many attempts, and 1 other goal was scored, but I am unable to remember who that was. Sorry.
At halftime, BR pretty much called off the dogs, the bench and JV players took the field for the most part. Final score of 6-1. The lone SF goal came on a PK, that was scarcely deserved. The 1st shot was blocked by the BR keeper, Conner S, but another attempt was given as someone apparently approached the line early.
Well done by BR. What is that 39, 40, 41 in a row. I will get on that and let you know!! Good luck this weekend at the Tucson Tourney!

BR over Northland Prep (Flagstaff) 2-0 (Sept. 27th.) BR now 12-0 on the season. And the winning streak continues. Next game against RV @ RV. And a trip to Tucson for the yearly Tucson tourney where BR will be facing Desert Christian again. Good Luck Yellow Jackets! Hopefully the weather will cool down a bit for you guys! Take it to them!

Come on spanky, didn’t we go through this last year? I am well aware that soccer is not football. I love football too, and basketball and I am currently learning to tolerate baseball (hockey is even fun to watch, in person). I get on smackzone every day and read through the football sections as well. But THIS forum is about soccer. If you don’t care, don’t read it. Hardly anyone else does, I’m under no illusions. That being said, BR is building on its soccer dynasty, and I love following the success of the team. I wish I could get more info on other teams, but my connections are in BR. In the future, please ignore this forum if in fact it “doesn’t count”. Thanks.

BR took down RV on Thursday Sept. 29th, by a score of 6-0. Win streak continues. On the season that 5 goals allowed, and 78 goals scored. Or an average of 6 goals scored per game, versus only 0.38 goals allowed per game.
BR played in the Old Pueblo tourney this weekend. I need to find those results. Hoping they had a great weekend!

Tucson Tourney Scores: White Mtn schools dominated the tourney. Generally teams play 4 games, and there is a clear cut winner. This tourney seems to be a little different, some good competition, without an actual winner. These are the scores I have.
BR went 3-0 with wins over Desert Christian (3-0), Benson (4-0), and St. Gregory (9-0).
Snowflake also went 3-0. Wins over Chino Valley (2-1), San Miguel (4-2) and St. Augustine (5-0)
Show Low was 2-1. A lose to Benson (2-0), and wins over Academy of Tucson (8-0), and St. Gregory (4-0)
From what I have, St. Johns was 1-1. W over Academy of Tucson (2-1), and a L to Desert Christian (9-0).
