I might put Desert Mountain a bit higher up. We'll see soon enough...

Yeah, i was debating that as well. They did great against Mt View and then creamed Dobson and Westwood, who are both cupcakes this year. We will see after they play Chaparral this week and then Highland in 2 weeks. I do think Desert Mountain is a tough squad though.

That's a pretty good group of 10 there! (I think Centennial and Salpointe could beat 70% of those teams though, perhaps even Marcos de Niza.)

I'm curious to see how Buena fares against Mointain Pointe this weekend.

Oh absolutely Spanky....however they are in Division 2. This was just the rankings from my perspective of Division 1...i know its confusing. Salpointe and Centennial are very tough this year and i would NOT be surprised if either school was to win the championship...in Division 2

I know...I was just being hypothetical. (Salpointe and Centennial are my picks to play for the D2 title, providing they're in opposite sides of the bracket.)

Couldnt agree more. A co-worker of mine heads up a branch of our firm in Peoria and he has a boy that plays for Centennial. He has been loving how the games are ran and says the boys are dedicated, talented, and that Coach Taylor knows football. I would love to see them in the playoffs if my schedule permits. However yes, both teams very big and physical.
